Not sure if this was fixed in WB, but in M&B the renown value would be recalculated for each round. Renown was calculated based on the strength of your party versus the enemy party, and you could get more renown by lowering the battlesize, since then there would be more of the enemy party left at the end of the round and thus the renown value of the next round would be higher than it would've
Hunt deers/goats and sell their fur and meat for easy and low input start. Attend lancers/swords only tournaments with 100 denars betting (usually grants you 3-5k for winning). Do mercenary guild quests (the ones that ask to hunt down low tier troops) Enlist lord's army, that thing takes quite long ing time, but reward is great.
When using the console to give myself 1 Renown, I received 1 full Renown - but that also let me see tenths of a renown when I did. So I used that to monitor my Renown gain for a couple of days - just sitting and doing nothing else - and yup, got 0.1 Renown for each profitable workshop. Thanks for the suggestion, Katsika.

Renown will be earned by your character as you progress through the Mount&Blade games. Your character's renown is basically how well known they are throughout Calradia or Eastern Europe. The other lords and rulers also have renown, which over time, assuming you are relatively successful, you will surpass. You can gain renown in a number of ways:
I saw that but the formula it lists seems not to match with the army sizes my lords have. For example, my lord that was a companion has 200 renown, one village as a fief and 4 leadership skill. According to TweakMB, her max party size should be 10 (base) + 20 (Leadership [4] * 5) + 8 (Renown [200]/25) = 38. She owns no castles and I've never
The first Bannerlord quest is to "Rebuild Your Clan" by hitting 50 renown. Here are a few tips to finish that quest quickly and become renowned. Battle Large Groups of Enemies advertisement The
Size of enemy force compared to your force is HUGE. Best I've gotten so far is 85 renown for beating 1200+ with about 380 troops. The renown is capped at 50 per battle so I highly doubt that. no that was changed with one of the last patches. I also get often 60/70 renown.
For quests from other games, see Quests. This page shows all the quests that are exclusive to the Viking Conquest or when certain aspects differ (for e.g. reward, or other particularities). This is the first quest that you will encounter in the campaign. You need to find Thonkrik in Doccinga (generally after walking past the trainers and practicing warriors on the right). Thonkrik will try to
im having a hard time figuring this bit out in order to recruit troops cause the only way i've found to be able to get renown is trough winning battles but thats hard to do when you can't recruit any troops and if you lose a battle you lose about 3-10x the amount of renown you would've earned as well as losing all troops so you just get put in a never ending loop of losing money and renown

and get a measly amount of 60 renown. Whilst beating down a group of looters gives you 5-10. It appears to also have an influence on morale/influence which is alright. However renown is a whole new other thing. Here the comparison between two battles, using the same army but fighting a 2x larger one. Also mind that I captured 23 lords after 1
