Save it until you're almost done with the main quest, and do a bunch of sidequests. 30 might be doable depending on your difficulty setting, but if it's anything higher than Normal, I'd recommend at least 35-40. Also, get the map for the Bluegleam, and collect it, and buy the weapons in the DLC as soon as you can.
