Crucible monsters have a change to drop a geo something (can't remember the exact name). These contain a map with a special forge that can add a tree to an unique, remove a tree from an item, merge two trees together, etc. The map will have 1 of those randomly on it. No you cannot directly copy a tree from one item to another, but you can

They're 3-5x as tanky as beyond bosses. They can be super scary depending on which boss it is and the type of crucible it is, or they can just be a massive HP sponge. They drop even less than beyond bosses despite taking longer to kill and often requiring that you kite them the whole time.
When it comes to Path of Exile Crucible League builds, I prefer ones that make me feel safe and allow me to easily clear waves. However, some builds require multiple unique items to be effective. This POE 3.21 build is capable of easily and effectively defeating both bosses and enemy waves. It requires a high strength of around 1500 to truly excel.

At least Kalandra gave you mirrored items and cool crafting options. It's like GGG decided to combine the worst parts of kalandra and scourge. The league mechanic implementation feels lacking, but the weapon trees are pretty cool imo. Dev resources are definitely being used elsewhere though (Exilecon/Poe2).
